So, as I prepare for my cleanse I was told to drink a lot of water to help with the transition of the cleanse. In the book she gave some kind of equation to figure out how much you should drink a day, and mine came out to 7 liters. Seriously? 7 liters? wtf? that's a shit load of water, but I sucked it up and did it yesterday.

I started out drinking Ice Mountain and every bottle equaled 1/2 a liter. About three bottles into my water drinking day, I started to get this horrible after taste which normally comes with filtered water. So I switched to SmartWater. Smartwater is a vapor distilled water, so what that means is that it is heated up and then let to evaporate which makes all those dumb chemicals which cause that horrible aftertaste to disappear. My transition to Smartwater helped the 7 liters go down easily.

I'm starting to put a grocery list together for friday, and I decided to make two trips. 1. to a whole foods/health store and 2. to a farmers market. Luckily i get paid on wednesday, this is going to be a bit on the expensive side.

Thanks for your support! I know I'll need it!

much love

If you need some less expensive organic produce, this is where I get mine:

We get the fruit and veggie box. Unfortunately you can't pick exactly what you will get unless you get the picky produce box. Well, just wanted to share that as others I've told have been pretty happy with it. I get my organic dry goods from Country Life Natural Foods.

But you really need to form (or join) a coop to cover the minimum order for delivery.

Did you know or meet Gina at you BW party? She is quite knowledgeable about nutrition.

How exciting! You can do it!

rikki, my advice for farmer's markets is to go about an hour before it's closing and walk around and check everything out. then, go back to the booths you were interested in and see if they have 'seconds' or 'uglies'. a lot of them will sell fruits and veggies with blemishes at a discounted price. i got apples, peaches, and pears at the farmer's market here in hollywood for $1/pound! that's amazing! and really, they had like one tiny spot. all you have to do is cut it off. also, towards the end, they just want to get rid of the produce, so they'll discount it then, too. :) good luck! i'm proud of you! love, tab
